NEW YORK INTERNATIONAL FRINGE FEST!

Alright people. Brace yourselves. Woman of Leisure and Panic is back and getting ready for a run in August 2012 as part of FringeNYC - The New York International Fringe Festival! Let us celebrate, then let us panic. Check back soon for more details about the exact performance dates, our new fundraising campaign, and the upcoming PANIC PARTY!

I got stuck on my vacation for an extra night due to bad weather. This should normally be a blessing (who wouldn’t want one more day in sunny San Diego!). But, of course, it became a source of panic as I began to worry about which credit card could cover the cab ride back to the airport the next day and wondering if having a mango yogurt at 11pm West Coast time was unnecessary stress-eating.
Ultimately, it felt like 2012 was already slipping away from me.
At least I can use this as I get back into character for the performance next Monday!

WHAT IS SHE DOING NOW?

Following up on an exciting run at the soloNOVA Festival with “Woman of Leisure and Panic”, I’m taking a little break from solo shows and working with a wonderful group of dancers to re-stage an older work of mine entitled, “What Are They Doing?”

A piece for four performers that asks how often do we really understand what we are watching on stage, “What Are They Doing?” will be presented at CPR on June 17th and 18th at 8pm. If you enjoyed “Woman of Leisure and Panic”, come see what I do when I’ve got other bodies to work on!
